SEM Consortium (Hosted by GCM Grosvenor): Fund Manager Information

How GPs Can Set Allocator Preferences, View Their Schedule, and Access Event Information for the SEM Consortium | October 27–29, 2025

Registration Information:

You can complete your registration through the SEM Consortium website here.

(Note: each individual interested in joining SEM Consortium must complete registration. Please note registration is NOT handled on a per company/organization basis)

VIP Connect:

This session creates an intersection where LPs, consultants, and small and emerging managers meet. During these one-on-one meetings, institutional investors and their advisors discuss with investment managers their investment programs, focus, considerations, and processes. Note: these introductory meetings are for information exchange only.

Meeting Blocks:

Monday, October 27: 3:30PM – 5:00PM ET

Tuesday, October 28: 8:00AM – 9:30AM ET

Wednesday, October 29: 8:30AM – 10:00AM ET

Each meeting will last 25 minutes, with a 5-minute transition period.

Meeting Locations:

Each meeting LP/Consultant will be assigned a hotel room where meetings will take place. Once the meeting schedules have been confirmed, you’ll have access to view the hotel room within your meeting schedule.


Uploading your Fund Profile:

How to create a fund profile:

  1. Click your profile icon in the upper-right corner of the iConnections platform.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. On the Funds section of the left-hand menu, click Add Fund +.

  4. Click Create a new fund.

  5. Fill in all required fields described below and click Next.

If you encounter issues with adding your funds, such as the absence of an "Add Funds" button, ensure that your fund profile has been created and you've been added to the Fund Team.

Adding your Funds to the Event:

Important: Please be sure to complete the below steps to ensure your fund profile is searchable to allocators

  1. Click your name in the upper-right corner of the iConnections platform to open the menu.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. In the left-hand menu, click Events.

  4. Locate the SEM Consortium event from the list.

  5. Click Add Funds or Edit Funds, depending on availability.

  6. Choose the fund(s) you will be representing at the event.

  7. Click Save.


Setting your Availability:

To set your availability on web:

  1. From your dashboard, go to the Events tab and select Registered.

  2. Find the relevant event and click View Event.

  3. Navigate to the Availability/Schedule tab.

  4. Toggle time slots to mark them as Available or Blocked.

To set your availability on the Mobile App:

  1. Tap Events from the bottom navigation bar.

  2. Select the relevant event

  3. Tap My Schedule in the carousel

  4. Your availability will be displayed at the top of your schedule

  5. Tap Edit

  6. Toggle time slots to mark them as Available or Blocked


Selecting your Allocator Preferences

As a fund manager attending the SEM Consortium, you will receive an email from the GCM team with a form to select your allocator preferences. You’ll have the opportunity to curate a list of up to ten allocators you'd like to meet with.

To Search for Allocators:

The Search tool is accessible directly from the Navbar at the top of the iConnections platform.

  1. Select Search For from the top Navbar of the platform, then click Allocators from the drop down.

  2. From the Filter by Event Attendees drop down, select SEM Consortium

  3. Click Add Filter to refine your search criteria

  4. You can filter allocators by Location, Fund Type Interest, Investor Category, Primary Strategy Interest or use Advanced Filters for more specific options.

Staying Organized

Once you’ve determined which allocators you’d like to meet with, you can add them to your GCM Top 10 List in the iConnections platform for easy tracking.


To add an allocator to your list:

  1. Next to their name on the allocator list, select Add to My Lists

  2. Select GCM Top 10 List, then click save.

  3. To review your list, select the GCM Top Ten List from the left-hand column of the page.


Viewing your Meeting Schedule

Your Meeting Times and Locations will be assigned closer to the event and be visible in your meeting schedule

To view your meeting schedule on web:

  1. From your Dashboard, navigate to the Events tab and select Registered

  2. Find the relevant event and click View Event

  3. Navigate to the Availability/Schedule tab.

  4. Select the date(s) you would like to view on your schedule.

  5. Your confirmed meetings, including scheduled time and location, will appear in their respective time slots.

To view your meeting schedule on the mobile app:

  1. Tap Events from the bottom navigation bar.

  2. Select the relevant event

  3. Tap My Schedule in the carousel

  4. Select the Event Date from the calendar to view your schedule

  5. Your confirmed meetings, included scheduled time and location will appear on the selected dates schedules.

Post Event:

You’ll have access to view your meeting history and connections made at the event through our platform. Please refer to Post Event Information & Content
